Carnegiea gigantea

Saguaro

The bearer of the state flower, these cactus are unique to the Sonoran Desert. Large white flowers turn to bright red edible fruit. Because they are truly native they require very little care or maintenance although growth can be promoted with deep infrequent watering. Large specimens make fantastic and rare showpieces.
