Citrus paradisi 'Rio Red'

Rio Red Grapefruit

Very popular, nearly seedless variety of fruit that is sweeter than Ruby Red. The Rio Red Grapefruit is an improved version that was brought over from Texas in 1984. Grows well in containers. When ripe it has pale-yellow skin with an attractive red flush.
