This cactus makes a great, faster growing and slightly smaller, alternative to the native Saguaro. White flowers make a show in spring, but the golden spines can appear to glow with the right sunset lighting. This cactus can tolerate more water than most, but limiting water will control growth rate and is best among other low water plants.
