Kumquats are unique in that the entire fruit (rind included) is eaten, they are also great for containers due to their naturally small size. Nagami requires a hot summer; they grow better and produce larger and sweeter fruits in warmer regions. They can be trimmed to make an excellent topiary and do well in containers.
