One of the few trees that change fall colors (bright red), but their main show comes from their blossoms. Can be used as a smaller specimen tree or, with regular pruning can be trained into a shade tree. Thrives in full sun, but if planted directly over gravel or pavement can burn in summer, unsightly, but not life threatening and will recover.
