Considered the most ornamental muhly when in flower, its pink show will stop traffic. Flowers fade to a wheat color in fall and can be left for fall interest until spring when the plant should be cut flat nearly to the ground to allow new growth. Can survive with very little water, but looks best with some supplement in the summer.
