A hardy, colorful shrub with vibrant, ever-changing foliage. New leaves emerge scarlet red in spring and mature to blue-green in summer. Small white flowers also appear in late summer followed by fiery red foliage developing in fall. More compact than the standard Heavenly bamboo, it’s a great choice for borders, walkways, or around foundations. Needs regular water, but frequent in extreme heat.
