A Sonoran Desert classic, this is the famous “jumping” cactus. While they don’t actually jump, they are very spiny and can be quite painful so plant clear of walking paths. Despite their reputation, they are a must have in a native themed landscape. They will also put on quite a show in the spring with white, pink and lavender streaked flowers. Being native, they are incredibly easy to care for. Needs a well drained soil.
