A popular grass that provides nearly year-round color with its purple burgundy colored blades that are topped with blooms creating a show in summer and fall. Beautiful as a landscape specimen or planted in groups. Size can be maintained by dividing after bloom. Unlike some other Pennisetum, this cultivar does not reseed.
