Washingtonia fillifera (filibusta)

California Fan Palm

A native palm that grows near desert springs and in riparian habitats. It is an excellent tree for large spaces, definition of entries, and or for use as a vertical accent specimen. Washingtonia filifera has a thicker trunk and is shorter than its cousin, Washingtonia robusta, and makes a distinct presence in the landscape.
