Salvia clevelandii

Cleveland Sage (California Blue Sage)

An amazing smelling plant in or out of bloom. The flower spikes are this plants most striking feature, with clusters of blue-violet flowers stacked like shish-kebobs along the spike. Salvia clevelandii also attracts butterflies and hummingbirds into the garden. Prune annually in the fall or after flowers fade.
